The Parade...

It was the parade for our County Fair and my Uncle had a great idea and created a masterpiece to put into the parade.  Each of the pieces of the train have his grandchildren in it.  They had tons of candy and threw it to the crowd that lined the street.

He asked the moms to dress the kids in western shirts, cowboy hat and got each one a bandana.

This the the mastermind of the whole great thing.  It is my uncle.  He saw one of these somewhere and set about designing his own and then building it all.  Each barrel had to be cut in half then painted then he put all the metal pieces together by welding them and the attaching everything together.  He is truly an amazing, creative and talented man.
And yes Rooster was part of the grandchildren parade.  My Uncle just loves Rooster and decided he needed to be a  part of it all especially since all of the grandkids just love Rooster.
There they are lined up and ready to go.
I had to stick this one in.  This grandchild just looks like a real cowboy standing there!!!!
They put signs on the train with the fair theme.
There they go down the street getting ready to throw the candy.  It was such a great time.  The kids had a ball.
