Company Picnic

At the company picnic it is always a food feast. Which I love!! Especially when they have boiled crawfish, shrimp, new potatoes, sausage, and corn. This is the pile of shrimp that they were getting ready to throw into the boiling pot.
The cooking crew decided they had better try the crawfish to make sure it was tastey!! If I ever started to taste there would not be any left for the picnic.
Doesn't this make your mouth water!! For those of you who aren't familiar with this tradition. It comes from the deep south. They actually farm these crawdaddies in the rice patty fields. Then they harvest them. Crawfish is only good during the months that start with R. It has to be really cool to farm them. You cook them just like Hummer(lobsters) except that you add a lot of spices especially red pepper. When you set down to eat a plate full of these it definitely clears your sinuses!! Some people can't stand them, but I just love them!! Sure glad I am living back where we can enjoy this again.
Now the fun part. As a fundraiser at the company picnic they asked the managers to be a part of the dunkin tank. Steve was 2nd on the list. So up he goes to get in position for the big bunk!!

He was really teasing the crowd that was trying to dunk him. Then a young man who is a baseball player stepped up to the line and then guess what!!!!...
The legs that appear in the window are Steve's!!!!He went down quick and hard!!

And there he goes for round 2!! He got dunked 8 or 9 times before his 15 minutes was up. But he helped them make alot of money!! It was really a great and fun day with great food.
